The Twins is the twenty-eighth episode of the second season of Sea Princesses.
Synopsis[]
The Shark King admires Tubarina's flower and suggests she enter it in the Salacian Flower Show. Tubarina decides she won't just enter, she'll win!
Plot[]
In the gardens of the Shark Palace, the Shark King notices Tubarina’s talent for growing flowers and suggests to her that she enter them in the Salacian Flower Show. Tubarina tells her father that the Clownfish Princesses, Juli and Jessi, always win the show, but he tells her that he would be very proud of her if she entered. She tells this to Polvina and Ester, who note that the twins always work together and never fight. Tubarina inadvertently and indirectly makes an intention to make Juli and Jessi fight so they will stop working together, which makes Polvina and Ester suspicious.
The next day, Tubarina watches Juli and Jessi as they go to school before joining them as well. She notices that everything they do is synchronised, even their swimming, and they always complete each others’ sentences. Tubarina suggests to Juli and Jessi that what they are doing may look strange to other people, but they don’t mind it. Later on, Tubarina gets an idea to get Juli and Jessi to fight and begins spreading rumours to the other students, making them think that they don’t need each other to win the flower show.
Polvina and Ester catch onto this and confront Tubarina about her spreading rumours so she would win the flower show. Tubarina is optimistic that nothing will happen because Juli and Jessi never fight, but when the girls go to the gardens of the Clownfish Palace, they see the twins fighting and dividing the garden amongst themselves. When Tubarina disappears, Polvina tells Ester that she should let her go and realise that she did the wrong thing herself.
Later, when Tubarina shows her father the flower she is planning to enter in the show to win, he tells her that he doesn’t care about her winning it as long as she tries her best and does the right thing. Realising this, Tubarina goes to stop Juli and Jessi from fighting just as Polvina and Ester do so as well. After failing to stop Juli and Jessi from picking sea slugs to throw on their best flower, Tubarina takes her best flower and lets the sea slugs eat it instead.
Tubarina admits to Juli and Jessi what she did and apologises to them, but they both aren’t angry about it because they realised that while they did have a fight, they felt exactly the same and did the exact same things. Polvina is proud of Tubarina for giving up her flowers to save the twins’ flower and Ester has Tubarina promise not to start any more gossip again.
