The Sea Quake is the forty-fourth episode of the second season of Sea Princesses.

Synopsis[]

A seaquake rocks Salacia and everyone has to evacuate before their homes are destroyed.

Plot[]

After a seaquake rocks Salacia, Polvina, Ester and Tubarina meet up with their pets to talk about it. No one was hurt, but according to Spikey, there is some damage at the thermal caves. The girls head there, where they discover that the roof has fallen in and the rocks have blocked the thermal passages. The Shark King, who is also there, tells them that the pressure is building up and that it will only be a matter of time before the caves are blown to pieces. Therefore, they have no choice but to evacuate Salacia.

As Polvina is packing, Tentie laments how he doesn’t want to leave home. While Polvina heads to the Shark Palace, Tentie goes the other way. Polvina notices that Tentie isn’t with her and the girls head off to find him alongside Spikey and Gummy. They eventually find Tentie at the thermal caves, clearing away the rocks blocking the vents. Despite the girls’ insistence, Tentie is not willing to come out. Tubarina sends Gummy back to tell the Shark King where they are, while Spikey decides to help Tentie despite Ester’s objections.

The girls also squeeze into the cave to get their pets, but seeing how much progress Tentie and Spikey have made with moving the rocks, they decide to help them. The Shark King arrives with Gummy just as another seaquake starts, with one more big rock left to clear. Gummy comes into the cave and helps the girls push away the rock. They then leave the cave with their pets just as the seaquake shakes. When the seaquake stops, the Shark King is amazed that the thermals are working again and that Salacia is safe.

After the Shark King tells everyone that they can return home, he recommends that Tentie, Spikey and Gummy receive a bravery award. Though what Polvina, Ester and Tubarina did was very dangerous, the Shark King commends them as well and “punishes” them by having them spend the afternoon listening to everyone commending them for being heroes.

Notes[]
