Princess Poutalot is the twenty-fifth episode of the second season of Sea Princesses.
Synopsis[]
Ester is the best player on the seaball team, but when Leia plays for the first time and is a total natural, the crowd goes wild and Ester is not pleased.
Plot[]
In her first game of seaball, Leia is unconfident in her abilities, particularly when faced against Ester, who is the best player on the field. Polvina and Tubarina tell Leia to be confident and sure enough, she manages to steal the ball from Ester and score a goal.
The next day, Ester overhears Tata and Vivi complimenting Leia on her performance at the game, telling her that Ester is no longer the best player. Ester is upset by this and tells Polvina and Tubarina, who reassure her that she is still the best seaball player and tell her that things like this happen sometimes. They play seaball again after school that day and Ester finds herself being shown up by Leia, which leads her to swear off the game. Polvina and Tubarina, who were with Ester when she did so, decide to hatch a plan to get her to play again.
Their first plan is to play a game at the Starfish Palace, within earshot of Ester, in the hope that they can get her to join. Ester is tempted to do so, but she manages to restrain herself. Having managed to work this out, Ester gets Spikey and his starfish friends to throw balls at everyone, causing them to scatter. Seeing this, Polvina suggests to Tubarina that they do nothing…
For their second plan, Polvina and Tubarina decide to call Ester “Princess Poutalot”, hidden and within earshot of her so she can hear it. She decides to go and see her friends playing seaball, hoping that they will ask her to join, but they don’t. Ester then decides to play with Spikey at the Starfish Palace, but she cannot find anything good to do.
Ester eventually decides to join the game again, but she fails to steal the ball off Leia, who then kicks a goal. Ester tells Polvina and Tubarina that she would rather be second best and have fun than have no fun at all, which is what they wanted her to realise. Spikey then comes in with his starfish friends and everyone runs away as they throw balls at them…
