Grow Up is the thirty-sixth episode of the second season of Sea Princesses.
Synopsis[]
Marcello wants to have the biggest muscles ever - and then wakes to find his dream has turned into a living nightmare.
Plot[]
Polvina, Ester and Tubarina find Marcello and Hugo comparing muscles. Marcello is insistent that he has the biggest muscles, but Tubarina teases him, insisting that boys like muscles because they think they have to be strong. While playing a game of clumsy ball, Marcello trips and cuts his leg on some poisonous coral. The girls and Hugo take Marcello home, where he quickly becomes delirious and faints.
The next morning, Tubarina calls Marcello for breakfast and discovers that he has bigger muscles. At school, Marcello’s strength manages to break his chair and table. He also manages to hit a flubberball so hard that it sends Hugo spinning. Everyone starts becoming scared of Marcello, even a turtle and Panjo.
The next day, Tubarina notices that Marcello’s muscles are even bigger than were the previous day. At breakfast, his footsteps manage to cause severe vibrations in the Shark Palace. Marcello also manages to break a door, a crouton, Tubarina’s plate, a spoon (which somehow bends by willpower) and the rest of the breakfast table. At school, everyone hides from his presence as he arrives. Miss Marla puts him outside the classroom window because of all the damage he did. He manages to break a couple of pencils and the rock he is sitting on.
As Marcello goes home, he notices that a school of rainbow fish and even a barracuda are scared of him. After Marcello breaks the door to the Shark Palace, Tubarina tells him that he will be sleeping in a tent because he caused too much damage. Marcello twists and turns inside the tent, which causes it to collapse. Marcello tries to get out, but ends up crashing into some things. Once he breaks free, he accidentally hits the Shark Palace, causing it to crack and collapse.
As Marcello searches for Tubarina in the rubble, he wakes up and discovers that everything that happened was a dream and the Shark Palace hasn’t collapsed; he was in bed, sick for two days after being poisoned by the coral. Marcello is finally glad that he has his normal muscles and that nobody is scared of him.
